When I play the video on the PC's Quicktime it works fine. Ive tried transcoding the original vision from MPEG 50 (MXF) to DV 25 420 MXF. I installed Calaborated MXF on the MAC. Mac: 17' Macbook Pro i5 2,53 ghz with 8Gb Ram 1067 MHZ DDR3, 1tb Internal. Codec: AVmp, Linear PCM, Timecode. LPCM (acronym for Linear Pulse Code Modulation) is uncompressed audio encoding which employs a combination of values like sample sizes, sample rate, number of channels, etc. LPCM is referred to as PCM Plus. As a particular kind of PCM, LPCM's quantization levels are linearly uniform, using PCM with linear quantization. Download the SINGLE version if you just need to play on one output, the Multi version to be able to play up to 8 streams on one Mac. Once downloaded, unzip the file, run the installer and select the number of channels you want to install. Make sure also to download and install the drivers for your video device: AJA, Blackmagic-Design.

- Below is a list of the video codecs with the accompanying audio codec used in Quicktime.MOV files that were tested and import into Studio 12.1 and higher. Note: These video/audio codec combinations are paired together. It is not a 'mix and match' system, meaning that the audio codec listed next to the video codec is for a single file type.
Each audio file type lists the data formats supported for that type. That is, a converter exists to convert data from the particular file format to any of the listed data formats. Some data formats (such as AC3) cannot be converted to a linear PCM format and therefore cannot be handled by standard audio units.
A Core Audio Format (CAF) file can contain audio data of any format. Any application that supports the CAF file format can write audio data to the file or extract the data it contains. However, the ability to encode or decode the audio data contained within it is dependent on the audio codecs available on the system.
